New version RSN. Fixing a bunch of bugs.

We are working towards:

unicode support (mostly done, substring is missing)
fix some lost file descriptors (done)
improve rscheme process i/o for SSL subprocesses (SMP friendlyness) (done)
fix big objects leak in pstoregc (done)
per user debug facility (done)
registration of abitrary MIME converters (done)
Experimental mime type text/wikipedia supported
experimental support for "python-like" Syntax (srfi 49)
HTTP protocol adaptor implementation cleaned up plus full supports persistant for connections together with experimental protocol improvements result in remaining 20% of prior execution time for the byzantine agreement process.
WebDAV (protocol level 1 completed)
New, experimental protocol option for byzantine agreement: one-shot. Save one round in the protocol. Use at your own risk: this protocol can run into dead locks.
Improved resynchronisation after network partitioning
SRFI 18 stuff moved into rscheme
improved networking (rscheme and askemos): selective listen address support (for virtual hosts, jails etc.)
replaced use of MD5 with SHA256 (except for OID's this time)
Added SOCKS4a support to SSL manager.
embedded sqlite3
code clean up: sensible exception handling and the mess the http code became over time
2007-09-01: updated SXPath to current version
2007-09-07: updated lalr parser generator

Is it possible to save one round in byzantine agreement?								17. March 2005
Today morning it occured to me that under the special conditions of Askemos-style synchrony it should be possible to save one round of the protocol.

PostgreSQL integration								3. December 2003
First shot of a PostgreSQL driver, MySQL driver modified.
Askemos version 0.7.3								1. December 2003
Version 0.7.3 is a minor enhancement and bugfix release. The BALL proxy/server now forwards WebDAV requests to Askemos and the Wiki has preliminary support for WebDAV based authoring.
Askemos version 0.7.2								28. October 2003
Version 0.7.2 is a major enhancement for BALL, the "Byzantine Askemos Language Layer". Beside many other new features, bugfixes and refinements, new code was added to provide a core for the implementation of more application programming languages.
